Where Passion Finds Purpose

I am Sameera Rodrigo, founder of Iora Digital. I moved to Sweden from Sri Lanka to pursue my master’s degree, carrying with me a clear purpose that after my studies, I wanted to build something of my own.

That ambition had already been growing for years. Since 2021, my work at UMiCODE Pvt Ltd in Sri Lanka as one of the owners, had brought me into the world of marketing, technology and creative professionals, where I became increasingly interested in how ideas, visuals and technology could come together to shape a brand. Studying in Sweden gave that ambition a new direction.

During my master’s degree, I explored tourism further with my prior ten years of industry working  experience as well as the market research through my thesis. At the same time, I continued exploring photography, film, design and new technologies (AI), turning ideas into things I could actually create.

Slowly, the pieces came together. My business experience, my creative side, my curiosity about technology  and my passion for visuals and storytelling.

I knew I wanted to bring them together and build something that was truly my own. That vision and purpose became Iora Digital. Today, I create visual and digital experiences that help businesses turn their ideas into something people can see, feel and remember.

Because every business starts with someone who dared to dream. And every dream deserves to be seen.
